Our Comments :-
1 ) Western India Oil Products made its Public Issue around 1944 . Name of Company changed to Western India Products and , now WIPRO Limited. Investors who made an investment of Rs. 100 then ( and held on ) would now be Crorepati +
( There are some such investors whose descendants are now in Pakistan . But their shares ,sadly , locked in Custodian of Enemy Properties. Such compulsory locking probably may, some day , turn out to be a boon for the legal heirs )

2 ) We applied for Tribhuvandas Bhimji Zaveri ( TBZ ), Got full allotment. ( Probably we were the only applicants from Jalandhar ) . After Allotment we saw price fall below Issue price (resulting in notional Book Loss ) We argued that instead of Buying Gold why not Tribhuvandas shares. We converted to Physical ( to avoid the temptation of Selling ). If there is any Profit to day we give the credit not to ourselves ( we take responsibility only for losses ) . The credit goes to God Almighty and the Blessings of our Elders ( including my parents )
