Make Indian Women Safe- Petition President / Chief Justice

In just two days, more than 50,000 people have petitioned the President and the Chief Justice of India, asking for swift and appropriate justice in the Delhi Rape Case.
As the ugly details of the rape and brutal assault on the 23 year old survivor come to light, people have taken to the streets and forced our political leaders to take immediate action.
Thanks to public pressure the Delhi Government and the Judiciary have set-up 5 fast-track courts to deal with rape cases. However, there is more to be done. We need to keep the pressure on!
The process for seeking appointments with the President and the Chief Justice has already started. In just a few days, we will deliver this petition to them with your signatures. Help us reach 100,000 signatures before the petition delivery. Sign the petition.
To those who ask, what is the point of a petition, I say, you can choose to remain silent. We won't. Add your voice. Sign and Share the Petition. No one should think that they can commit violence against women and get away with it.
We have a long way to go, but together we can ensure that we stop rape in this country.
Thanks for taking action,
Namita Bhandare via Change.org
PS: Forward this mail to everyone you know. Everyone who is against this brutal crime should sign the petition to show our leaders that we have had enough and they must take action.
