In the USA tenure of President is for 4 years.
5 Year tenure in India was decided up on 64 years ago and when votes were cast on Ballot Papers.
Election costs, now , can be reduced to a minuscule if voting is done by Mobile Phones.
The expenditure thus saved should be used to give free mobile phones to those Indians who do not own one.
Democracy should be much more than a Right to Choose Your Jagirdar.
There should be a Public Commission ( like Minorities Commission ) to protect the Rights of the Non Vote Banks.
Exploitation of the Non Vote Banks , after elections and formation of Governments should end.
