Azad Hind Fauz ( INA ) 's War Memorial at Singapore was blown up by British troops when they re captured Singapore under Mountbatten ( who later became the last Viceroy of India ).
After the recaputure of Singapore by the British ,Ethnic Cleansing of Indians was done and Chinese given predominance.
No effort was made , after India gained Independence ,by Nehru ( very close to Mountbatten ) to Rebuild the Azad Hind Fauz War Memorial.
It is highly Ironic that Mountbatten himself was blown up by in 1979 by Irish Revolutionary Army.
