Demonetisation- An Administrative Disaster ?

.Not much planning seems to have been done.

Total Ad hocism .

Govt. should have enrolled the services of College Students( for 15 days ) , NCC cadets , Territorial Army etc and exchanged the notes of common man , at war footing , at their door steps.

In 1947 , partition chaos had led to massive rehabilitation administrative exercise.

Luckily , we had ,then , Sardar Patel ( also Minister for Rehabilitation ). Sardar Patel brought in ICS / IAS probationers , College Students etc etc

Even after 16 days , new Rs. 500 note has not reached Punjab.

Why no new Rs. 1000 note designed / printed ?

Why the denomination of Rs.2000 ?. Rs.2000 never printed before in India.

Now , after Rs. 100 next higher value Note is of Rs.2000.

It like a building where you have developed the Ground Floor and First Floor .And after First Floor the higher developed Floor is the Fifth Floor. Second to Fourth Floors - Undeveloped.
