Provisions in law
Notice of AGM – Provisions of Section 101 of the Companies Act, 2013 deals with the “Notice of the Meeting”. As per the requirement of the section the notice calling annual general meeting of the members should be served to the members at least 21(Twenty One) clear days before the date of the meeting either in writing or in electronic mode stating therewith the place, date, day and hour of the meeting along with the statement under section 102 setting out the material facts in respect of each item of the special business to be transacted at the general meeting.
