In China he meets his old college friends who hold very high Govt. Positions.

 Tai pan wants Finance. Chinese want big corporates like Noble House to side with them when Hong Kong comes back to China.

Tai pan gets immediate Finance.

He returns to Hong Kong and demands Delivery of all the shares short seller has sold.
