As per SEBI notification regarding amendment to SEBI (Listing Obligations And Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, all requests for effecting transfer of securities of listed companies shall not be processed unless the securities are held in the demat form with a depository. This is mandatory except in case of transmission or transposition of securities.
This rule will be effective from 05 th December 2018
