Alok Verma IPS , Director CBI ,was my class mate in St.Stephen's College , Delhi. We both joined College in 1975 in the same course. Alok 's cadre was UT ( He was earlier Police Commissioner , Delhi )
Along with Alok Verma the other strong contender for the post of CBI Director was , also , class mate ( joining College in 1975 - same course ) Satish Mathur IPS , DGP Maharashtra .
