The markets have been in a tail spin for the last couple of weeks. With no end to the pandemic in sight and a siginficant portion of the Indian populcae yet to be vaccinated. We hope you this letter finds you in the best spirits.  
 
Before the price update summarizing the major financial highlights here :
 
.1. HDFC Securities : Appointed Gagan Singla as its first chief digital officer, we expect a significant push in its digital agenda. Mr Singla had earlier led the transformation in Angel Broking. Link
 
2. TMB Bank : Tamilnad Mercantile Bank clocks FY21 net profit of Rs 603 cr. Link
 
3. CSK : After a price drop on suspension news, the prices for CSK have bounced back. IPL phase-2 likely to be held in UAE in September-October. Link
 
4. NBFCs (HBD & Hero Fincorp) might be impacted with second order effects of the pandemic, Ravaged by the second wave of the pandemic, non-bank lenders have seen a 50% rise in customers missing payments in the first fortnight of May, threatening to push up overall defaults to dangerous levels. Most non-bank finance companies have been forced to stop door-to-door collections after several payment pick-up agents succumbed to the virus in the past six weeks or so.
 
5. NSE : SAT has allowed NSE access to 6000crores of funds which was stuck in the algo case. This comes has a huge positive for NSE's IPO plans, share prices for NSE have risen by 25% in the last week
